We originally established in 2008 and were previously known as Turner March Solicitors. We merged into Lancashire Law Limited, and whilst still being part of that limited company have our own trading name for the Whitworth office, which is Rossendale Law. This makes it easier for clients to know that they are dealing with the Whitworth office.
We aim to provide you with a professional and efficient service. We are large enough to offer you a full range of expert legal services but small enough to care about our clients and provide a friendly individual service specific to each client’s needs.
We understand how important it is that legal matters are dealt with promptly and we aim to respond within the working day to your telephone requests and have a 48 hour turn-around on incoming post.
Kim qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and having worked in a Manchester firm for the first ten years of her career, then went on to set up the office in Whitworth which has been trading since 2008, previously known as Turner March LLP. Kim has lived locally in Whitworth most of her life and is happy to arrange home visits in the surrounding area for clients unable to attend the office . Kim’s specialist fields of work are :

- Employment law
- Business sales and purchases
- Court of Protection work, including Powers of Attorney
- Landlord and Tenant

Lorna started working at the Whitworth office as an apprentice in June 2015. Lorna completed the CILEx qualification to become a paralegal and has since completed the academic stage required to become a Chartered Legal Executive. Lorna is now undertaking the necessary regulatory requirements to become a Fellow of CILEx and specialises in conveyancing and family law.
Lily joined the Rossendale Law team in July 2020 after completing her Bachelor of Law degree at Leeds Beckett University. Lily then extended her studies by completing the Legal Practice Course and achieving her Master of Law degree on a part time basis during evenings and weekends. Lily is now our Trainee Solicitor at the firm and will be hoping to qualify as a Solicitor in 2024.
Casey started working at Rossendale Law in April 2021 as a legal secretary and has since begun training with CILEx to become a paralegal, as she hopes to pursue a future career in law.
Kim joined the firm in August 2017 as a legal cashier but has since taken on an additional role dealing with post completion matters for conveyancing files.
